JET ENGINES

Jet engines are two types:

  • atmospheric and rocket engines

atmospheric jet engines consist of;

  • ramjet, turbo propeller engine, turbojet engine

atmospheric jet engines are worked only in the atmosphere but the rocket engines are worked both in the atmosphere and vacuum. atmosphere engines require the amount of oxygen to work,it is available in the atmospheric air.and also the performance depends on the atmospheric pressure and temperature.coming to the rocket engines they carry their own fuel and oxygen along with its.

that's why the rocket engines do not depend on the atmosphere.

rocket engines are working and followed by the principle of newton laws.

RAMJET:

it is a jet but used in older days. it consists of a diffuser and combustion chamber, exit nozzle, but it does not have any turbine or compressor.

the velocity of air enters the diffuser is decreases.the pressure raise due to the decrease of velocity incoming air called the ram effect.

due to this effect, the aircraft moves. the high-pressure air is allowed to the combustion chamber where the fuel is mixed to the air by the fuel nozzles and get burnt, allows hot exhaust burnt gases through the nozzle to the atmosphere than the thrust is created and propels the aircraft forward. and also this type of jet engine is moved with less than the supersonic speed.

TURBO PROPELLER JET:

it consists of a gas turbine and compressor, combustion chamber, propeller.

the procedure of process takes place in the engine is first the air enters to the compressor by the help of the propeller and

after the air is compressed to high temperature and pressure then allows to

the combustion chamber where the fuel is mixed with the air and get burned due to its high temperature and

pressure in the turbine, the hot exhaust gases expand in the gas turbine. the turbine is used to drive

the mechanical components with its energy like compressor, propeller.

the gases from the turbine is allowed to the nozzle which creates the thrust and allows the exhaust gases out to the atmosphere.

TURBO JET:

the process of engine working is similar to the turbo propeller jet.

but there is small elimination of components in it that is propeller remaining all the components are similar. this type of jet is almost used for the air crafts moving with more than 850 km/hr.

ROCKET ENGINES:

rocket engines carry their own oxygen and fuel along. rocket engines can travel in an atmosphere and vacuum. most of the rocket engines use alcohol as fuel.

now the basic rocket engine:

the basic engine consists of two tanks, one tank contains fuel and the other is liquid oxygen.and also two pumps. steam turbine, combustion chamber.

the fuel and oxygen are supplied to the combustion chamber with the help of pumps. these pumps are operated by the steam turbine.

the steam turbine is run by the expansion of steam on its blades.

I think you have got one thought that is how the steam is available in the rocket?

let's read it,

rocket is consists of a hydrogen peroxide tank. the steam required for the turbine is produced by mixing hydrogen peroxide(concentrated) to calcium permanganate.

the oxidizer and fuel burns, which produces high-pressure gases. these gases are allowed to the nozzle where the gases of pressure are converted to the kinetic energy.

the jet gas is allowed to the atmosphere at a supersonic speed. the jet produces the thrust on the rocket engine which helps to the rocket propulsion.

THE HISTORY OF PERIODIC TABLE

The periodic table is invented due to avoid confusion while searching and locate the elements. at that time chemists are started to frame ways to group these elements and compounds on the basis of their physical and chemical states. at the beginning of the 18 th century, a scientist called joseph Louis stated that the hydrogen atom is a building material and atoms of all other elements are simply due to a combination of a number of hydrogen atoms. and also considering some examples the atomic weight of hydrogen is taken as ONE. DOBEREINER'S TRIAD THEORY: dobereiner's he was a German man. he was tried to prove the relationship between elements of their properties and atomic weights. he stated that the arrange the three elements are in ascending order which has similar properties with the help of atomic weights. and the middle element is the average of the first and third elements. this theory is called the law of triads. limitations: this law failed for low mass and very high ma...

SATELLITE

Hello all,  today I explained the satellites. study carefully. satellite is nothing but an object that revolves around the planet in a curved path. satellites are two types: natural satellites(the moon is a satellite because which revolves around the earth) artificial satellites(human-made) coming to the topic of artificial satellites; artificial satellites are made by the human and launched by the human through the rockets into the orbit of the planet. the satellite launching involves two steps: the satellite has to be taken into the desired altitude. pushed out from the spacecraft at the right velocity to begin and maintain it's orbit. the satellite launch vehicle moves straight only for a few seconds. A satellite launch vehicle is a multistage rocket, consists of a smaller booster rocket for boosting. boosters give the rocket initial thrust during the launch and carry the vehicle rarely part of the flight. when the fuel completed in the boosters they fall away from the rocket ot...
